Delivery Conditions

Important Shipping Terms

01

Shipping Time

Estimated shipping and transit periods depend on material availability, quantity, packaging, export preparation, carrier schedules, routing and destination. Any estimated dates provided are commercial estimates rather than guaranteed arrival dates unless expressly agreed otherwise.

02

Freight Quotations

Freight rates may change because of carrier pricing, fuel costs, route availability, seasonal demand, cargo characteristics and destination charges. A shipping quotation is therefore subject to its stated validity period.

03

Customs & Import Clearance

Unless the written commercial terms expressly provide otherwise, the buyer is responsible for destination-country import clearance, permits, licenses, duties, taxes and other local regulatory requirements.

04

Delays Outside Our Control

Delivery may be affected by carrier delays, customs inspections, port congestion, weather, route changes, regulatory actions, strikes, force majeure events or other circumstances outside reasonable operational control.

05

Delivery Details

Buyers are responsible for providing accurate company, consignee, notify-party, address, airport or seaport information. Costs resulting from incorrect buyer-supplied information may be charged to the buyer where applicable.

06

Packaging

Packaging is selected according to material type, form, quantity, transportation method and applicable handling requirements. Special packaging should be requested before final quotation and order confirmation.

07

Inspection on Receipt

Buyers should inspect the shipment and external packaging promptly on receipt. Visible transportation damage, shortages or package irregularities should be documented and reported promptly with supporting photographs and transportation records.

08

Transaction-Specific Terms

Where a quotation, pro forma invoice, sales contract, purchase agreement or other written transaction document specifies different shipping terms, those transaction-specific terms apply to that particular order.

Product Origin vs. Shipping Origin

Product origin and shipping location are not necessarily the same. Materials may originate in the Democratic Republic of the Congo while export consolidation, documentation and international shipment are coordinated through Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Applicable commercial and origin documents will identify the relevant information for the individual transaction.
